I came to a decision this evening concerning the placement of Basec and bwBASIC in the FreeDOS software list. We originally included bwBASIC in the "Base" list because we were providing a replacement for Microsoft's GW-BASIC and QBASIC. However, FreeDOS has grown beyond its original roots as just another implementation of (MS)DOS, and now the project has grown to providing a really cool DOS operating system with more features than other DOS systems, yet something you can run on 16-bit systems. Anyway, it no longer seemed appropriate to keep Basec and bwBASIC in the "Base" list. These are properly programming languages, so I have moved them to the "Lang" list. In the Beta5 distribution (very soon now!) these will appear in the Lang disk set, part of the Full distribution. -jh
